Due to the ongoing global financial crysis and the slow pace of economic recovery on the print & graphics market, the organisers of PRINTEX 2010 Bucharest together with the companies that expressed interest in participating at the event, have decided to postpone the 2010 edition of PRINTEX for this autumn,  September 14-17, at Romaero Bucharest exhibiton area.

 

All the Romanian or International companies interested in exhibiting their printing equipments in Bucharest, as well as the professionals interested in visiting the event, are invited to start booking their place as early as possible in order to be sure of their participation at one of the biggest printing events in the emerging area of South-East Europe.

Question markPrinting refers to the process of reproducing words or images on paper, metals, textiles or different types of materials. Sometimes, the procedure has been named graphic art. The history of printing is one of the most widely documented aspects of any civilization. Throughout history, the majority of printings were performed using a mechanical method. However, the modern printing process is mostly based on photomechanical and chemical methods. The use of stones as official seals is one of the oldest types of printing known to history. This type of printing stones was used during the earliest times of the Ancient Age, especially in Babylonia, where they accompanied signatures or reproduced religious symbols.
